It's official, I have the lanyard and the t-shirt to prove it! I am going to be working as a Lead-Taker for Promethean at Bett.

I'am about to find out more about my role after our first briefing but what I can tell you is what Bett is and actually stands for... If you don't know already, it stands for- British Educational Training and Technology. It is an annual trade show showcasing the best uses for technology in education and people come from all over the world!

So far we are waiting for a team meeting with Promethean! I feel honoured to tell you all that this is the first time Promethean has ever had Edge Hill students at their stand and this is all down to our fabulous tutor Sarah Wright! Sarah is an Edge Hill lecturer and Promethean Advocate, she will be delivering a presentation entitled 'Unlocking Learning: Achieving accelerated participation in your classroom'.

So what am I looking forward to the most? -

The main thing i'm most looking forward to is learning how to get the most in terms of the educational benefits, out of the technology that's already out there and is free! There's nothing like FREE Pedagogy is there? In particular I want to harness Classflow! Download it on the App store yourself and have a go!

Update- I've found out more about my role and how crucial it is for the success of the day, no pressure eh. So when someone shows an interest in a Promethean product I am part of the team that is responsible for taking their details so a member of the team can get into contact with them in order to help answer any questions about the products available for purchase. As a team, we've been set the target- to take 1000 individuals details a day and I think we're going to turn this into a bit of a competition.

If your at Bett don't forget to download the App and come and see us all at the best stand (haha), Promethean.

See you there!
