DAFITAL Assessment Data

This is an example of the assessment that took place at during professional practice.

During each term data is collected from all of the core subjects, Maths, English, Science and Religious Education and is then presented to the Headteacher in a one-to-one meeting with the class teacher. Together they examine the data for each individual child looking at the support in place to help the individual get the best out of school life. This includes what the school is providing for the pupil premium children, if there are any causes for concerns and how to remove barriers to learning.

Additionally, at this meeting action plans are put into place for example-

Names blocked out for safeguarding purposes.

Personally, I used this data and planned extra maths booster sessions that helped children catch up with either maths lessons they have missed recently or children that were working towards a Year 2 learning objective.
